Splash Pads

- I guess will need to schedule a personal visit to this splash pad in order to find any other information! I have scoured the internet for all details and have come up only with the fact that it is apparently still operating, continues to receive upgrades and is open "seasonally" during the hours above. I haven't been able to find details for the season or cost information. Don't worry, I shall update you as soon as I know more!
- While it is obviously open during the regular summer aquatics season, May 24th - July 27th, this splash pad is also open extended hours before and after the season.

- This is one of 2 new splash pads in Washington that opened in May of 2025, but details have been elusive. I will update information as I find it!

Swimming
Lake Beaches

- Pro Tip: I recommend calling ahead 706-613-3631 just to ensure the beach is open before making the drive. There have been unexpected closures in the past.
- The beach is located just down the hill from their brand new accessible playground, which makes switching activities easy if need be.
Pools
- The pool is seasonal and open days/hours may vary. As a general rule, the pool is open from the last week in May until the 1st week of August.
- Cost: $7 + tax/per person. Kids 2 and under are free!
- A paid membership is required to access this pool.

- This pool was completely redone and just reopened in 2025!
- Because the pool is new and awesome, it is usually busy. There IS a limit to how many people are allowed in at a time, so be aware there may be a wait, especially on weekends. I was there on a Saturday and there were some folks who maybe had to wait 30mins+ for entry. The good news is, there is a playground and plenty of shady park space to hang out if need be.
- The new pool design is pretty cool, beginning with a completely shallow end with a few water spouts for the littles. It gradually deepens as you move toward the bottleneck into the main pool area. There are shade umbrellas and picnic tables right near the edge of the kiddie area as well. There are 2 diving boards in the deepest part and a middle area that is about 5 feet deep where most of the older kids and adults swim. There are 2 basketball hoops accessible from the pool as well in this area.
- There are posted lifeguards!
- From time to time, be prepared for "adult swim" to be announced and all the kids must be completely out of the water, even in the kiddie zone. They are allowed to play in the water spouts during this time, but not enter the water itself.

Tubing | River Fun

- Park Entry: $5 Park Pass per vehicle
- During the summer, many folks enjoy playing in the cool river shoals just below the bridge. The water levels are low enough in the South Fork River at this point that it's a great way to cool off between picnicking, hiking or even playing at the playground nearby!
- The iconic pink tubes you've seen? That's Helen Tubing. They boast that their pricing is the same for everyone, every day, with a 4% surcharge to cover credit card fees.

- Cost: $14 per person, $14 per dog (Yes, there is an option to buy a "Dog Tubing" ticket!)
- Hours: 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week
- Pro Tip: Arrive early in the day and purchase tickets online to shorten wait times!
- These folks also offer aerial activities, you know, just in case you need to get sweating before you jump in the river. Options include a climbing wall ($15), adventure course ($30), a small course for the littles ($20) and ziplining ($45). If you're going tubing on the same day, you can get a $5 discount at the aerial park.
