- 🎵 First Friday Concert Series - Free Concert in Downtown Elberton on the First Fridays of each summer month in 2025: May 2nd, June 6th & August 1st - Downtown Elberton
- 🌲 Richard B Russell State Park has lovely lake views, nice beach, hiking trails, and tent camping and cottages in Elberton, GA (or check out any of the other local parks)
- 🏈 FHF Football Fun Day - McWilliams Park - Free football camp featuring NFL football player Mecole Hardman Jr. of the Kansas City Chiefs, a former Elbert County resident and supporter of local community programs - June 14, 2025 9:00am - 2:00pm
- 🌷 2Morrows Creations Market - Indoor/Outdoor Craft Fair - Artisan arts, crafts, and homemade goodies for sale at 2Morrows Creations (next to the Elberton Post Office)

ATHENS - SUMMER 2025 |
- Walker Park Splash Pad- Athens, GA - $1/person admission for this gated splash pad with fun activities for babies, toddlers, and young kids. There are also picnic benches and playground. Athens-Clarke County has a total of five pools and two splash pads open this summer. Unlimited passes also available. CLOSED MONDAYS - 200 Trail Creek Street Athens, GA
- Sandy Creek Nature Center - educational science center and walking trails
- Sandy Creek Park - This park features kayaking, horseback riding trails, disc golf, a beach in the summer, a brand new playground (2025) and plenty of green space with picnic tables and event rental spaces. It does cost a small fee to enter the park - $2 per person (and $2 per horse). 4 and under and 65+ are free! This is a great day trip with plenty to do for the whole family!
